This week marked the end of February and the beginning of March, which is crazy because it feels like New Year's was just like 3 weeks ago or something, but it was two months ago! Time is going faster than ever, and the next few weeks are sure to get pretty crazy, especially with SXSW around the corner. Here is what you may have missed this week:

In break-ups, Peter Dolving quit as vocalist for The Haunted, which led the band to put out an open call for vocal auditions. Suffocation also confirmed the departure of drummer Mike Smith.
We posted the first in our South By Southwest guides about stoner, sludge and doom bands.
We were floored by the new Job For A Cowboy track.
Lemmy confirmed that Motorhead will indeed be on Mayhem Fest this Summer along with Slipknot, Slayer, Anthrax and others.
